| How can she say sorry when she's feeling nothing wrong? | | |
| Interesting what the reation was from my last post. Does it always have to be connected with current drama? What if I just wanted to explore that side of the issue a little bit? Hey, I enjoy a bit of chaos as much as the next guy, but this was ridiculous. I think this has been one of the most uptight summers I've ever had the honor of sitting through...
::Yawn:: Anyway, I was up 'till 3:00 this morning walking again. I love doing it for a good reason, but the whole getting-knocked-out-until-noon thing is really getting old, you know? I barely have time to go over my stuff for Godspell anymore because of it. Either way it goes, I always feel like I'm missing something...
I'm happy that most everything's going well, though. Happy enough to write about it.
But not just yet. I want to try something first.
Though I am never called upon, I remain your faithful servant. | | |
| Feelin like a soul sold short? --Shrug it off and get back in there But you can talk to me anytime... --As long as you don't start talking about THAT again I think this calls for a hug! --Wouldn't touch that with a ten-foot pole Read up on your Bible, it'll make you feel --Better? WRONG
--What could I possible say to comfort you this time We need to talk --Could we talk about about this... you always seem to be --Needy/Oversexed/Materialistic/Self-centered like this... always down on yourself --And do you even have ... and do you even have any idea why? -- Is that why I'm here? To comfort you? --Are you listening at all I don't feel like your friend anymore --Why can't I help you help yourself and stay healed You want my advice? Nix martyrdom and stay healed for once in your life! --I care We're drifting apart. --for you more than you'll ever know You're not the same person I used to know and --After all you've put yourself through I can't believe I still love... --love you like this I'm leaving. -- And I'll be back tomorrow.

"Innocent eyes inspire Laudenum-like looks Bruising bursted bravado This our silent thunder..."
I wanted to bring back a Texas Rose, but the thorns almost ripped my book open. It seems what grows in Dallas stays there.
My prayers tonight go out to the New Orleans Boys.

The Definition of Love
My love is of a birth as rare As 'tis for object strange and high; It was begotten by Despair Upon Impossibility.
Magnanimous Despair alone Could show me so divine a thing Where feeble Hope could ne'er have flown, But vainly flapp'd its tinsel wing.
And yet I quickly might arrive Where my extended soul is fixt, But Fate does iron wedges drive, And always crowds itself betwixt.
For Fate with jealous eye does see Two perfect loves, nor lets them close; Their union would her ruin be, And her tyrannic pow'r depose.
And therefore her decrees of steel Us as the distant poles have plac'd, (Though love's whole world on us doth wheel) Not by themselves to be embrac'd;
Unless the giddy heaven fall, And earth some new convulsion tear; And, us to join, the world should all Be cramp'd into a planisphere.
As lines, so loves oblique may well Themselves in every angle greet; But ours so truly parallel, Though infinite, can never meet.
Therefore the love which us doth bind, But Fate so enviously debars, Is the conjunction of the mind, And opposition of the stars.
